Acabo
de ver con mis hijos, a ellos les dedico esta entrada, por segunda vez la
película The Fighter con la que Christian Bale y Melissa Leo ganaron sendos Oscars al Mejor Actor y a la Mejor Actriz de Reparto en 2011.
Esta
canción aparece en un momento de la película que me encanta cuando Micky Ward vuelve a boxear con el apoyo de toda su
gente, sabiendo que vuelve fuerte a lo que sabe hacer y detrás anda su hermano cantándola
mientras se oye en la megafonía.
Originalmente,
“HERE I GO EGAIN” de Whitesnake, fue publicada en su álbum de 1982, Saints & Sinners, siendo posteriormente regrabada
para su álbum homónimo de 1987.
El
sencillo fue re-grabado por tercera y última vez en 1988 en una nueva
"versión para radio", significativamente más corto. La edición de
1987 alcanzó el número uno en el Billboard Hot 100, el 10 de octubre de 1987 y
el número nueve en el UK Singles Chart el 28 de noviembre de 1987. También
alcanzó el número uno en la lista de sencillos de Canadá, el 24 de octubre de
1987.
En
2006, la versión de 1987 fue nombrada como la 17ª mejor canción de la década de
1980 por VH1.
