“Keane” es una banda inglesa de piano rock y pop rock procedente de Battle, East Sussex, en el sureste de Inglaterra. Grupo conocido por usar el piano como su principal instrumento en lugar de guitarras durante sus dos primeros álbumes, “Hopes and Fears” y “Under the iron sea”, al contrario de muchas bandas de rock. Sin embargo, hacen uso de pedales de efectos y sintetizadores, dándoles un gran rango de sonidos no limitados al tradicional sonido del piano. ^]Pero, a partir de su tercer álbum, “Perfect symetry”, la banda incluyó las guitarras entre sus instrumentos.
