Have a nice day

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EuIBx1iqgs

Why, you wanna tell me how to live my life?
Who, are you to tell me if it's black or white?
Mama, can you hear me? Try to understand.
Is innocence the difference between a boy and a man?
My daddy lived the lie, that's just the price that he paid
Sacrificed his life, just slavin' away.

Ohhh, if there's one thing I hang onto,
That gets me through the night.
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to,
I'm gonna live my life.
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice,
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly.
When the world gets in my face,
I say, Have A Nice Day.
Have A Nice Day

Take a look around you; nothing's what it seems
We're living in the broken home of hopes and dreams,
Let me be the first to shake a helping hand.
Anybody brave enough to take a stand,
I've knocked on every door, on every dead end street,
Looking for forgiveness,
what's left to believe?

Ohhh, if there's one thing I hang onto,
That gets me through the night.
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to,
I'm gonna live my life.
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice,
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly.
When the world gets in my face,
I say, Have A Nice Day.
Have A Nice Day.

Have A Nice Day.
Have A Nice Day.
Have A Nice Day.

When The world keeps trying, to drag me down,
I gotta raise my hands, I'm gonna stand my ground.
Well I say, Have A Nice Day.
Have A Nice Day
Have A Nice Day

It's my life

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wU7b1r_PZoM

This ain't a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for the faith-departed
I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud

It's my life
It's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just wanna live while I'm alive
It's my life

This is for the ones who stood their ground
For Tommy and Gina who never backed down
Tomorrow's getting harder make no mistake
Luck ain't even lucky
Got to make your own breaks

It's my life
And it's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I'm alive
'Cause it's my life

Better stand tall when they're calling you out
Don't bend, don't break, baby, don't back down

It's my life
And it's now or never
'Cause I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I'm alive

It's my life
And it's now or never
'Cause I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I'm alive
'Cause it's my life!

This is the last time

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa4_pXAqm40

This is the last time
That I will say these words
I remember the first time
The first of many lies

Sweep it into the corner
Or hide it under the bed
Say these things they go away
But they never do

Something I wasn't sure of
But I was in the middle of
Something I forget now
But I've seen to little of

The last time
You fall on me for anything you like
Your one last line
You fall on me for anything you like
And years make everything alright
You fall on me for anything you like
And I, no I don't mind

This is the last time
That I will show my face
One last tender lie
And then I'm out of this place
Tread it into the carpet
Or hide it under the stairs
You say that some things never die
Well I tried an I tried

Something I wasn't sure of
But I was in the middle of
Something I forget now
But I've seen to little of

The last time
You fall on me for anything you like
Your one last line
You fall on me for anything you like
And years make everything alright
You fall on me for anything you like
And I, no I don't mind

The last time
You fall on me for anything you like
Your one last line
You fall on me for anything you like
And years make everything alright
You fall on me for anything you like
And I, no I don't mind

Poison

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xot1ynShvX4

Your cruel device
your blood, like ice
one look, could kill
my pain, your thrill...
I wanna love you but i better not touch (don't touch)
i wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
i wanna kiss you but i want it too much (too much)
i wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
you're poison, running through my veins
poison
i don't wanna play these games
Your mouth, so hot
your web, i'm caught
your skin, so wet
black lace, on sweat....
I hear you calling and it's needles and pins (and pins)
i wanna hurt you just to hear you screaming my name
don't wanna touch you but you're under my skin (deep in)
i wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
you're poison, running through my veins
poison
i don't wanna break these chains
poison...

One look, could kill
my pain, your thrill...
I wanna love you but i better not touch (don't touch)
i wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
i wanna kiss you but i want it too much (to much)
i wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
you're poison, running through my veins
poison
i don't wanna break these chains
poison (poi-son....)
I wanna love you but i better not touch (don't touch)
i wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
i wanna kiss you but i want it too much (too much)
i wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
yeah....
well i don't wanna break these chains
poison
runnin' deep inside my veins
burnin' deep inside my brain
poison
and i don't wanna break these chains
poison

The Final Countdown

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQMYYRAlqjM

 We're leaving together
But still it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back
To earth, who can tell
I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground (leaving ground)
Will things ever be the same again
It's the final countdown...
The final countdown
Ooh oh

We're heading for Venus (Venus)
And still we stand tall
Cause maybe they've seen us
And welcome us all (yeah)
With so many light years to go
And things to be found (to be found)
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so
It's the final countdown...
The final countdown
The final countdown (the final countdown)
Ooh ooh oh

The final countdown
Ooh oh
I'ts the final countdown
The final countdown
The final countdown (the final countdown)
Ooh
It's the final countdown
We are leaving together
The final countdown

Grenade

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K688JcPuoR8

Trabajó con The Smeezingtons, Motown Records y Atlantic Records, con esta última lanzó su álbum debut “Doo-Wop and Wooligans” y logró colocar en los primeros puestos sus sencillos “Just the way you are” y “Granade”.

Easy come, easy go, that's just how you live
Oh, take, take, take it all but you never give
Should've known you was trouble from the first kiss
Had your eyes wide open, why were they open?

Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, you did
To give me all your love is all I ever asked
'Cause what you don't understand is

I'd catch a grenade for you
Throw my hand on a blade for you
I'd jump in front of a train for you
You know I'd do anything for you

I would go through all this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes, I would die for you, baby
But you won't do the same
No, no, no, no

Black, black, black and blue, beat me 'til I'm numb
Tell the devil I said, hey,
when you get back to where you're from
Mad women, bad women, that's just what you are, yeah
You'll smile in my face then rip the brakes out my car

Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, yes, you did
[| From: http://www.elyrics.net |]

To give me all your love is all I ever asked
'Cause what you don't understand is

I'd catch a grenade for you
Throw my hand on a blade for you
I'd jump in front of a train for you
You know I'd do anything for you

I would go through all this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes, I would die for you, baby
But you won't do the same

If my body was on fire
Ooh, you'd watch me burn down in flames
You said you loved me, you're a liar
'Cause you never, ever, ever did, baby

But darling, I'd still catch a grenade for you
Throw my hand on a blade for you
I'd jump in front of a train for you
You know I'd do anything for you

I would go through all this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes, I would die for you, baby
But you won't do the same

No, you won't do the same
You wouldn't do the same
Ooh, you never do the same
No, no, no, no

Because we can

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JurPHxu7eA

En 2000, alcanzaron gran éxito y repercusión gracias al exitoso tema It’s my life, perteneciente a su álbum Crush.

I don't want to be another wave in the ocean
I am a rock not just another grain of sand
-That's what I want-
I want to be the one you run to when you need a shoulder
I ain't a soldier but I'm here to take a stand
Because we can

She's in the kitchen staring out the window
So tired of living life in black and white
Right now she's missing
Those technicolor kisses
When he turns down the lights
Lately he's feeling like a broken promise
In the mirror staring down his doubt
There's only one thing in this world that he knows
He said forever and he'll never let her down

I don't want to be another wave in the ocean
I am a rock not just another grain of sand
-That's what I want-
I want to be the one you run to when you need a shoulder
I ain't a soldier but I'm here to take a stand
Because we can

TV and takeout on the coffee table
Paper dishes, pour a glass of wine
Turn down the sound and move a little closer
And for the moment everything is alright

I don't want be another wave in the ocean
I am a rock not just another grain of sand
-That's what I want-
I want be the one you run to when you need a shoulder
I ain't a soldier but I'm here to take a stand
Because we can

Our love can move a mountain
We can if you believe in we
We can, just wrap your arms around me
We can, we can

I don't want be another wave in the ocean
I am a rock not just another grain of sand
-That's what I want-
I want be the one you run to when you need a shoulder
I ain't a soldier but I'm here to take a stand

I don't want be another wave in the ocean
I am a rock not just another grain of sand
-That's what I want-
I want be the one you run to when you need a shoulder
I ain't a soldier but I'm here to take a stand
Because we can

Our love can move a mountain
We can if you believe in we
We can, just wrap your arms around me
We can, we can
Because we can
