Christina Perri (nacida el 19 de Agosto de 1986 en Filadelfia, Estados Unidos) es una cantante que ha saltado a la fama a los 24 años cuando la cadena Fox utilizó en 2010 su single "Jar of Hearts" en el programa So You Think You Can Dance, y la revista Rolling Stone la reconociese como "Band of the Week".  Se mudó a Los Ángeles cuando cumplió 21 años, se casó y comenzó a producir vídeos musicales. A los 18 meses se divorció y volvió a Filadelfia a finales del año 2009. Fanática de la Saga Twilight (Crepúsculo) de Stephenie Meyer consiguió que este tema “ A thousand years” formara parte de la banda sonora de la cuarta película de la saga, Breaking Dawn (Amanecer). Su letra se centra en los miedos y demás pensamientos de los personajes protagonistas  de la saga literaria y fílmica Bella Swan y Edward Cullen antes y durante su boda (romanticismo blandito a tope). - BB 60 9ºtrack
