Nathaniel Joseph "Nate" Ruess es un cantautor estadounidense de género Indie/Indie rock. Es ex vocalista de la banda The Format y es actual vocalista de la banda Fun.  Se unió a bandas de punk en la escuela secundaria y al graduarse decidió dedicarse a la música.
El vídeo de "Just Give Me A Reason" de Pink con Nate Ruess ha recibido tres nominaciones a los premios VMA!! El video oficial se estrenó el 5 de febrero del 2013 en la cuenta oficial de Youtube de la cantante, y cuenta con más de 165.000.000 de visitas. En un principio la idea era componerla juntos para Pink pero finalmente ella se dio cuenta de que iba a quedar mejor en forma de diálogo y la grabaron juntos.

Runaway es la canción con la que se dio a conocer a Jon Bon Jovi en la radio (compuesta por Jon y George Karak). La canción está interpretada por Jon Bon Jovi junto a la banda The All Star Review, ya que el vocalista la había grabado antes de formar la banda, pero está incluida en el primer álbum del grupo, titulado "Bon Jovi". En realidad se trata de una canción escrita en 1908 y uno de las tantas demos que Jon había grabado en el estudio en el que trabajaba como asistente en esos años, y que posteriormente se incluirían en el recopilatorio The Power Station Years: The Unreleased Recordings.

La canción trata sobre una joven que tras huir de casa de sus padres se ve obligada a realizar actos ilícitos para ganarse la vida, denunciando de esa forma la difícil situación en la que vivían muchos jóvenes en esa época. Y en el video clip mientras esta historia se desarrolla, los Bon Jovi realizan su  actuación en una especie de edificación en ruinas. En dicha actuación destacan recursos como el fuego, las explosiones y el humo, que fueron muy utilizados en los 80. Además, durante todo el vídeo persiste el ambiente terrorífico y las escenas de rebeldía.
